The Miami Dolphins have signed Brent Grimes to a one-year, $5.5 million deal.

Grimes, who made more than $10 million last season with the Atlanta Falcons, played in just one game in 2012 because of an Achilles injury suffered in Week 1.

The undrafted cornerback has registered 13 interceptions over six seasons.

Brent Grimes, who is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, remains on the free agent market.

According to a report, the Dolphins are "very much in" on Grimes, "who could land there soon."

Grimes has been linked to the Dolphins since he visited Miami in the first week of free agency.

Dannell Ellerbe has agreed to sign with the Miami Dolphins.

Ellerbe had emerged as a valuable linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.

Ellerbe had 66 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 13 games for the Ravens in 2012.

The deal is reportedly worth $35 million over five seasons per a source that spoke with Ian Rapoport.

Mike Wallace and the Miami Dolphins have agreed upon a deal with $30 million guaranteed.

Wallace has been one of the NFL's best deep threats during his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Dolphins re-sign Brian Hartline earlier in the offseason to be the team's No. 2 wide receiver.

The Miami Dolphins are in talks on a five-year contract with Mike Wallace.

One source described the talks as progressing in a way that it is "very, very likely" to get done.

Matt Moore will re-sign with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year deal worth $8 million.

Moore will remain the backup quarterback to Ryan Tannehill.

Moore was widely seen as the top quarterback on the open market.

Brian Hartline has agreed to a five-year, $30.755 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, according to sources.

Hartline's deal includes $12.5 million in guaranteed money.

"So happy and blessed to be here in Miami," Hartline told The Miami Herald via text early Friday. "Now let's go win some championships."

Hartline was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next week.

The Dolphins still hope to sign an elite wide receiver to make Hartline their No. 2.
