Josh McCown Considered Favorite For Texans' Job

Jan 29, 2022 8:31 AM

Josh McCown has emerged as the favorite to become the next head coach of the Houston Texans.

McCown is getting a second interview with the Texans, a clear indicator he's a top candidate.

McCown is a former NFL quarterback with no college or pro college coaching experience.

The Texans have an unconventional franchise with Jack Easterby casting a big influence over Cal McNair, while general manager Nick Caserio has attempted to serve as shadow coach during 2021 games.
