Ravens Hire Sashi Brown As President

Feb 6, 2022 11:10 PM

Sashi Brown has left his position with the Washington Wizards and will return to the NFL as president of the Baltimore Ravens.

Brown, 45, becomes the third president in Ravens history and replaces Dick Cass, who turned 76 last month and is retiring after serving in that role for 18 years.

Brown is expected to start April 1, and the Ravens said he will "oversee every area of the organization," including player and staff personnel, coaching, corporate sales, operations, communications and business ventures.

Ravens To 'Turn Over Every Stone' To Prevent Injuries

Feb 1, 2022 9:04 AM

John Harbaugh says the Baltimore Ravens will do whatever is necessary to ward off the injury bug that hampered them this season.

"You can call it bad luck. You can say it's a fluke. I get that," Harbaugh said. "I don't feel like we have the luxury to live there. We have to turn over every stone. We've got to look at every possible avenue to do the best we can to make sure this doesn't happen again. That's what we plan on doing."

The Ravens were forced to shuffle offensive linemen, running backs, receivers, quarterbacks, defensive linemen and defensive backs due to injury. They lost six-straight games to end the season.
