Rookie quarterback Levi Brown has re-signed with the Bills a day after the team released former starter Trent Edwards.
Brown rejoined the Bills on Tuesday after he was one of the team?s final cuts earlier this month, according to an Associated Press report

Tackle Marcus McNeill Rejoins Chargers
Chargers tackle Marcus McNeill signed his one-year $630,000 contract tender Saturday.
McNeill is in his fifth NFL season after joining the team as a second-round draft choice in the 2006 NFL Draft. He played in the Pro Bowl following the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
?We?re all very happy that Marcus has decided to sign his tender and go back to work,? said GM A.J. Smith. ?He has missed some time on the job, but we will be patient, get him up to speed and Coach (Norv Turner) will decide how quickly he gets on the field.?
McNeill signed his contract Saturday and is now on the Roster Exempt list. He will miss Weeks 3-5 and will be placed on the active roster for the team?s game Week 6 in St. Louis on Oct. 17. McNeill signed in time to travel with the team to Seattle.
49ers Make Vernon Davis Highest Paid TE In NFL History
Vernon Davis and the 49ers have agreed to a new deal, which will make him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history.
Davis, who was entering the final year of his contract, signed a five-year, $37 million extension that guarantees him $23 million, a source close to the situation told Comcast SportsNet.
Kevin O'Connell Returning To Jets
The Jets will re-sign quarterback Kevin O'Connell to a two-year contract.
The contract was first reported by a radio station in O'Connell's college town of San Diego.
O'Connell tore his labrum during the preseason, so he's expected to go straight to injured reserve for the rest of the season -- and not take up a spot on the 53-man roster.
Jaguars Give OL Nwaneri $24M Deal
The Jaguars have locked up starting offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri with a five-year, $24 million contract.
The deal includes anywhere from $8-$9 million guaranteed, according to an NFL source.
Nwaneri was set to make $1.01 million in the final year of his rookie contract.
Seahawks Bring Back Babineaux
The Seahawks have re-signed veteran safety Jordan Babineaux, who they released on Monday.
Babineaux is capable of playing safety or cornerback and has started 29 games in his six seasons with the Seattle.
Raiders Sign Jay Alford
The Raiders have signed defensive tackle Jay Alford, according to Pro Football Talk.
The Giants drafted Alford in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played all four of New York's preseason games.
Alford missed the entire 2009 season with a knee injury.
Jets Re-Sign Tony Richardson
The Jets have re-signed fullback Tony Richardson one day after releasing the popular veteran.
"Each season, there are difficult choices when constructing the 53-man roster and this year is no exception," the team said in a statement on Sunday.
"We appreciate Tony's contributions and leadership over the past two seasons and have nothing but the highest respect for him as a person and as a player."
Redskins Give Beck An Extension
The Redskins have signed quarterback John Beck to a contract extension, according to various reports.
The development likely means Washington will keep three quarterbacks with Richard Bartel the odd man out.
The Redskins acquired Beck August 2 from the Ravens for cornerback Doug Dutch.
Cardinals Sign Dockett To $48M Extension
The Cardinals have signed defensive tackle Darnell Dockett to a four-year contract extension worth as much as $48 million.
The contract includes $30 million in guarantees.
Dockett had two years left on his previous contract, so the new deal runs through the 2015 season.
