Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop has signed a $14 million, five-year contract extension with the team.
The contract includes a $2 million signing bonus, according to a person who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Chiefs Extend Siler For Another Year
The Chiefs signed linebacker Brandon Siler to a one-year contract extension after he missed all of this season because of a torn Achilles tendon.
Siler was expected to compete for time at middle linebacker alongside Pro Bowl selection Derrick Johnson after spending last season with the Chargers.
He had a good start to training camp but was hurt in late August, and had surgery to repair his Achilles a few days later.
Pitt Hires Wisconsin Assistant Paul Chryst
Pitt hired Wisconsin assistant coach Paul Chryst on Thursday to replace Todd Graham, who left for ASU last week after less than a year on the job.
The 46-year-old Chryst is Pitt’s fourth head coach in the last 13 months, following Dave Wannstedt, Mike Haywood and Graham, who left for the Sun Devils following a disappointing 6-6 season.
Vikings Sign Sullivan To Five-Year Extension
The Vikings have signed center John Sullivan to a five-year, $25 million contract extension, according to a league source.
The deal includes $10 million in guarantees.
"I can't thank the Vikings enough for giving me another chance," Sullivan said.
"They gave me another chance to go out there and prove that last year was result of circumstances and to show what type of player I can be when I'm healthy and not dealing with some personal things."
Cowboys Sign Sammy Morris
The Cowboys have signed veteran running back Sammy Morris in the wake of DeMarco Murray's season-ending ankle injury.
Morris, 34, played 11 years in Buffalo, Miami and New England but has not played this year after getting cut by the Patriots in training camp.
"I hadn't heard anything for a while so I assumed that I'm going to ride into the sunset," Morris said. "So I got the phone call. ... I all but said I was done in my mind, but it didn't turn out that way."
Bills Sign Erik Pears To Extension
The Bills have signed offensive tackle Erik Pears to a contract extension.
Pears, a seven-year NFL veteran, is in his first full season with the Bills. He's started 13 games at right tackle this season, and is part of a line that's allowed a league-low 17 sacks.
He's provided stability to a position that had been in flux before he signed with Buffalo as a free agent last December.
Rams Sign Kellen Clemens
The Rams have signed Kellen Clemens and added the quarterback to their active roster.
Sam Bradford (ankle) and A.J. Feeley (thumb) are dealing with injuries.
The Redskins signed Clemens in July and released him Sept 3. He was signed by the Texans on Nov. 23, after Matt Schaub was placed on injured reserve but was waived Tuesday to make room for Jeff Garcia.

The Texans signed veteran quarterback Jeff Garcia on Wednesday.
He will likely be their No. 3 quarterback behind rookie T.J. Yates and Jake Delhomme.
Garcia, 41, had individual workouts in Houston following injuries to both Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart.
Bears Sign Bennett To Four-Year, $18M Extension
The Bears have signed wide receiver Earl Bennett to a four-year, $18 million contract extension.
The deal includes $9 million in guarantees.
Bennett has just 18 catches this season, but Chicago admires what the former third-round pick brings to the table, in terms of his attitude, his toughness and his obvious chemistry with former Vanderbilt teammate Jay Cutler.
Mike Leach To Coach Washington State
Mike Leach is bringing his high-powered passing offense to Washington State, according to an Associated Press report on Wednesday.
The school said Wednesday that the former Texas Tech coach agreed in principle to a five-year contract. He will be introduced Tuesday at a news conference in Pullman.
Leach will be paid a base annual salary of $2M, with supplemental income of $250,000 a year, plus performance incentives, AD Bill Moos said.
