The Browns have signed punter Reggie Hodges to a two-year contract extension, locking up the potential restricted free agent.
Hodges is averaging 44 yards on 51 punts and leads the NFL with 11 punts inside the opponent's 10-yard line.

The linebacker was waived last week.

Clayton signed with the United Football League on Oct. 25 after Tampa Bay cut him in September.
New York is without Steve Smith (pectoral muscle) and Hakeem Nicks (leg swelling).
Ramses Barden (ankle) and Victor Cruz (hamstring) were placed on season-ending injury reserve.
Pittsburgh Signs Shaun Suisham
The Steelers have signed journeyman Shaun Suisham to replace released kicker Jeff Reed.
Reed fell out of favor after missing seven field goals through nine games this season.
Suisham worked out for the team yesterday morning in Heinz Field.
Fasano Signs Two-Year Deal With Miami
The Dolphins have signed tight end Anthony Fasano to a two-year, $7.75 million contract extension.
The contract includes a $2.1 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
Fasano has 25 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Panthers Sign Brian St. Pierre
The Panthers have signed veteran quarterback Brian St. Pierre.
St. Pierre, who played at Boston College, has appeared in two games and attempted five passes in seven NFL seasons.
"He's a younger player that's had some playing time (who) we've got some familiarity with on our staff," Panthers coach John Fox said Friday. "It gives us a third quarterback in the building learning our offense."
