Ravens' Martin Cited On Drug Charge In Cleveland

Ravens' cornerback Derrick Martin was cited on a charge of drug abuse after police say he was found to be in possession of marijuana at a Cleveland airport, according to The Associated Press. Airport screeners discovered three small packets of suspected marijuana while searching Martin at a security checkpoint Saturday. Martin was issued a ticket and will be sent a summons to appear in Cleveland Municipal Court on July 15.

Pats' Andrews Being Held After Gun Incident

New England defensive back Willie Andrews is being held without bail after allegedly pointing a handgun at his girlfriend's head, according to ESPN.com. He was arrested Monday morning after the alleged incident, which occurred when he returned home at about 1 a.m. and an argument ensued. Andrews left the scene but was later apprehended at his home. Police found a .45 caliber weapon, believed to be Andrews', near a dumpster.

Bills' Lynch Fined, License Revoked In Hit-And-Run

Bills running back Marshawn Lynch had has driver's license revoked in court on Friday after saying he didn't know he hit someone last month, according to The Associated Press. Judge Thomas Gagola found Lynch's behavior on May 31 "constituted a reckless disregard of human life or property." Gagola imposed the maximum $100 fine and $50 surcharge after Lynch pleaded guilty to failure to exercise due care toward a pedestrian. "It was raining real hard, there was a dancing pedestrian in the middle of the street," the 22-year-old Lynch said before the hearing. "I slowed down to let her go and continued on my way home. I didn't know my car had hit anyone or anything."
