Asomugha To Have MRI On Ankle
Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha sprained his ankle in Sunday's win over the Seahawks and is expected to have an MRI.
X-rays were negative and Oakland doesn't yet know the severity of the injury.
Asomugha went down defending a deep pass to Seahawks wideout Golden Tate in the fourth quarter Sunday.
Newman Set To Play Despite Rib Strain

Favre Reportedly Consults Dr. James Andrews
Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has consulted with the doctor who performed the offseason operation on his oft-injured left ankle, according to a report on NFL.com.
Favre, 41, suffered a stress fracture in his left ankle and an "avulsion" fracture in his left heel bone in the Vikings' 28-24 loss Sunday night at Green Bay.
Dr. James Andrews did arthroscopic surgery on Favre's left ankle last spring to remove scar tissue and bone spurs.
Cox Suffers Memory Loss After Blow To Head

Cox couldn't recall any of the details from the game. He clearly remembers the night before and then coming to in the trainer's room.
