Dez Bryant Will Undergo Foot, Ankle Surgeries

Dec 30, 2015 12:28 PM

Dez Bryant has been placed on injured reserve and will undergo surgery on his foot and ankle.

Bryant was limited to just nine games this season after breaking his right foot in the season opener.

At the time of the surgery Bryant had a bone graft to help the healing process, which is standard in how the team deals with foot surgeries.

Bryant signed a five-year, $70 million contract with $45 million guaranteed on July 15 but suffered a hamstring strain early in training camp.

LeSean McCoy Could Be Out For Season With Torn MCL

Dec 21, 2015 3:09 PM

LeSean McCoy tore his MCL and will be "week-to-week" pending further evaluation.

Rex Ryan said Monday that McCoy will have an MRI to determine the full extent of the injury, but calling McCoy week-to-week at this point in the year could make it likely that we’ve seen the last of the back this year.

If his year is over, McCoy will finish his first season with the Bills with 203 carries for 895 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games.

Tyrann Mathieu Out For Season With Torn ACL

Dec 22, 2015 11:55 AM

Tyrann Mathieu tore his ACL on a late interception in the Arizona Cardinals' win at the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mathieu has been one of the NFL's best defensive backs this season.

Bruce Arians says he loves the fact that Mathieu has used his second chance perfectly, becoming a leader and a great player.

“It’s his energy and passion, at everything,” said Arians. “He’s just so good to be around, for us coaches and for his teammates. He wants to be great every day. I mean, we could lose Carson [Palmer], or Patrick [Peterson], and it’d be devastating. We could replace Tyrann, but who would replace his interceptions and his sacks? I have to say, he’s my favorite. This would be devastating for him.”
