Despite missing all three weeks of the team?s voluntary workouts in June, three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kris Jenkins will be present when the Carolina Panthers report to training camp on Friday, his agent confirmed over the weekend.
?Yes, Kris will be there,? agent Tony Paige said in an exclusive interview with The Gazette.
Paige, who was in the hospital attending to a sick family member when reached earlier this weekend, said he couldn?t talk long but let it be known Jenkins would ?definitely? be at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., on Friday for the start of camp. He also added that Jenkins had not agreed to a new contract.
