Brill Barnwell has released his 2014 NFL Trade Value rankings, headlined by Russell Wilson at No. 1 and Andrew Luck at No. 2.
Wilson is ranked ahead of Luck because he is still two years away from being paid market value.
Aaron Rodgers is ranked No. 3, though Barnwell writes that he would rank him as the most talented quarterback in the NFL right now. But Rodgers is 30 and makes far more money than younger, cheaper quarterbacks.
J.J. Watt is the first defensive player on the list and ranks No. 4.
Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton are ranked No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.

Mike Shanahan nearly reached a deal with Fox to provide color commentary during games this season.
Shanahan was going to be partnered with Dick Stockton.
“And he says, ‘I was supposed to be working with Mike Shanahan, but it doesn’t sound like he wants to do it anymore,’” Paulsen said, relaying his conversation with Stockton in an airport.
Robert Griffin III believes the most dangerous part of Washington's offense is Alfred Morris and the running game.
"I think everyone would lean towards DeSean or Pierre (Garcon) or Jordan Reed," RGIII said, per the team's official site. "I think it's (running back) Alfred (Morris). With him, defenses have to make a decision whether to put guys in the box to stop him or leave the box light and allow Alfred to go between the tackles and lure in the safeties. I think it will be interesting to see what defenses do against him."
Baylor is installing a statue of Robert Griffin III at McLane Stadium.
Midland, Texas native Tom White of Tom White Studios in Prescott Valley, Ariz., completed the 9.5-foot bronze sculpture of Baylor's only Heisman Trophy winner and it will be installed in the south end zone plaza of McLane Stadium the week of Baylor's season opener against SMU on Sunday, Aug. 31.
The official pose is being kept under wraps until the final unveiling.
