As reported by the Associated Press, a Tennessee judge dismissed misdemeanor charges against Pacman Jones on Thursday, agreeing with a prosecutor that the Titans' cornerback has been punished enough with his legal trouble over the past year.

Titans' Givens Has Third Surgery On Knee
ESPN's Len Pasquarelli reported on Thursday that Titans' wide receiver David Givens has had surgery on his troubled knee.
It's the third procedure Givens has had on the knee in the last fourteen months. He has only appeared in five games for Tennessee since signing a lucrative deal with the team in 2006.
There are doubts about whether he will ever play again.
UCLA Hires Chow As Offensive Coordinator
Sources close to Norm Chow have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen that he will accept UCLA's offensive coordinator position and an announcement could happen on Monday.
Chow held the same position with USC before being hired by the Tennessee Titans. He was fired last Tuesday despite helping the Titans reach the playoffs.
Titans' FS Hope Has Surgery To Repair Neck Injury
Tennessee Titans starting free safety Chris Hope, who missed five games in 2007 and finished the season on injured reserve, has undergone neck surgery to address the spinal cord injury that knocked him out of action.
It is not yet known if or when Hope will be able to participate in the Titans' offseason program which begins in March. The club remains optimistic that Hope will be able to play in 2008.
"He'll be 100 percent," agent Terry Williams told The [Nashville] Tennessean. "It was the best move for him. He'll be back and ready to go when opening day comes."
Pacman: "Hopefully, I Can Get Out Of Tennessee"
Coach Jeff Fisher on Friday said the Titans still haven?t decided on the future of suspended cornerback Pacman Jones.
Jones apparently isn?t going to be upset if he?s not back in Tennessee. Appearing in a video shot by rollingout.com, Jones responds to a question about where he will be in 2-3 years.
"Hopefully, 2 Pro Bowls. Hopefully, I can get out of Tennessee. I want to go to Dallas," Jones said."So we'll see how it goes and I am just going to keep my head up."
It?s unclear when the video was shot though it?s believed it was filmed several months ago and was just posted on the site. Rollingout.com is an UrbanStyle weekly serving the African American community. Jones appears in the video wearing a t-shirt and holding a microphone.
Heimerdinger Back With Titans As O-Coordinator
The Titans are going back to a familiar formula.
The Titans on Thursday named Mike Heimerdinger as offensive coordinator - the second time he will serve with the team in that capacity.
Heimerdinger, the assistant head coach for the Broncos, had been Tennessee's offensive coordinator from 2000-04.
Titans Pursuing Heimerdinger To Run Offense
In a move aimed at solidifying the future of franchise quarterback Vince Young, the Tennessee Titans are looking to their past and are pursuing former offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger to fill the vacancy created by the firing of Norm Chow earlier this week.
Heimerdinger, 55, is currently the Denver Broncos' assistant head coach/quarterbacks. The Titans have formally sought permission to speak with Heimerdinger, who previously was the offensive coordinator for Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher for five seasons (2000-04), and the Broncos gave permission on Wednesday.
It is believed that Broncos coach Mike Shanahan, who calls the offensive plays for his team, will not stand in the way if Heimerdinger, who is under contract, wants to return to the Titans for a second stint on Fisher's staff. Should Heimerdinger depart, Denver would likely pursue former Georgia Tech head coach Chan Gailey to replace him, the Rocky Mountain News reported.
Gailey, who was fired by Georgia Tech last month, has been an offensive coordinator and head coach at the NFL level in the past. He was recently interviewed by San Francisco for the offensive coordinator opening that was eventually filled by Mike Martz. Gailey is also a candidate for the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator spot.
Pacman Accused Of Punching Woman In Club
A woman is seeking an arrest warrant against suspended Tennessee Titans' cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, claiming he punched her at an Atlanta strip club.
Fulton County Magistrate Court officials told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Wanda S. Jackson asked for the warrant after a Jan. 3 altercation at the Body Tap Strip Club.
Jackson, an attorney, says in her filing that she was in the club's office when an angry Jones accused managers of stealing his money and bracelet.
"I was sitting in the office, and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm," Jackson wrote in the warrant application filed Jan. 7. "Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."
Jackson did not immediately return a phone message requesting comment. Jones' attorney Manny Arora said no warrant has been issued against his client.
Titans Fire O-Coordinator Chow
The Titans fired Offensive Coordinator Norm Chow after three seasons with the team, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Tuesday.
The Titans finished the regular season 10-6 and suffered a 17-6 loss to the Chargers in the first round of the playoffs. They finished 10th in the AFC in total yards.
Chow, who was previously the offensive coordinator at USC, was interviewed for UCLA's head coach opening in December but withdrew his name from consideration. The Bruins went on to hire Rick Neuheisel.
Titans' Haynesworth Fined For Hit On Chargers' QB
Tennessee Titans' defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been fined $5,000 by the NFL for what the league deemed an unnecessary hit on San Diego Chargers' quarterback Philip Rivers in last week's 17-6 wild card-round defeat.
The play in question occurred with about four minutes remaining in the third quarter and with San Diego facing a second-and-seven at the Tennessee 44-yard line.
Before the snap, Haynesworth charged across the line and knocked Rivers to the ground. The Pro Bowl defensive tackle was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness. He was also flagged for an encroachment foul, but that penalty was declined.
The penalty advanced the ball to the Titans' 29-yard line, and two snaps later, Rivers connected with wide receiver Vincent Jackson on a 25-yard touchdown pass that lifted the Chargers to a 10-6 lead.
