Darrelle Revis is ready to practice as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers begin training camp on Thursday.
Revis is coming off major knee surgery and will be eased into practice by Greg Schiano.
“He’s in good shape,’’ Schiano told the media. “I want to play him back in to cutting and moving with other guys, not just himself.’’
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Mike Williams have agreed upon a six-year, $40.25 million extension.
The deal will keep Williams with the Buccaneers through the 2018 season.
"We are pleased to have Mike signed to a long-term contract that ensures he will continue to be part of the exciting young core of players we are building around," Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik said Wednesday morning in a news release.
Williams has 2,731 yards and 23 touchdowns through his first three seasons.
Peyton Hillis has agreed to a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Hillis spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hillis was on the cover of Madden NFL 12.
The Seattle Seahawks have the most talent in the NFL of players 25-and-under.
The Houston Texans were ranked first in 2010, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the distinction in 2011 and the New England Patriots last season.
The Seahawks feature Russell Wilson, Russell Okung, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.

Harris didn't play last season after spending 2011 with the San Diego Chargers. Harris was a longtime defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears.
The San Francisco 49ers have acquired Eric Wright from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a conditional late round pick in 2014.
Wright is a cornerback that played at USC and UNLV in college and grew up in San Francisco.
Wright was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Jeff Demps is hoping to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for training camp.
It is uncertain if Demps will be included on the relay team at the IAAF World Championships in August.
Demps was traded to the Buccaneers by the New England Patriots this offseason.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Lawrence Tynes to replace Connor Barth at kicker.
Barth tores his right Achilles tendon while playing in a charity basketball game last week.
Barth will be placed on the reserve/non-football injury list. He had surgery Monday and will spend the season rehabilitating.
Tynes was most recently with the New York Giants.
