The Buffalo Bills have traded former Pro Bowl linebacker Takeo Spikes and quarterback Kelly Holcomb to the Philadelphia Eagles for defensive tackle Darwin Walker and a 2008 late-round pick.

Al Wilson's new agent confirmed Thursday night that the Broncos are shopping around for a trade partner but that a deal for the star middle linebacker isn't imminent. The NFL Network reported Thursday that talks with the Giants have heated up after the Lions and Eagles showed strong interest.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid will return from a temporary leave of absence Friday, five weeks after leaving the team because of his two oldest sons' legal troubles. Reid is scheduled to return to his duties full time Friday, in time for the NFL owners' meetings in Arizona next week. The team scheduled a news conference Friday morning. Reid took a leave of absence on Feb. 12, after his two oldest sons became embroiled in legal troubles stemming from separate traffic incidents on Jan. 30.

Defensive tackle Montae Reagor signed a three-year contract with the Eagles on Wednesday. Reagor spent the last four years with the Colts. He started the first five games last season before suffering season-ending facial injuries in a car accident that occurred en route to the team's game against the Redskins on Oct. 22. He was released by the Colts earlier this month.

The Philadelphia Eagles reached an agreement Friday with free agent RB Correll Buckhalter on a two-year contract. The deal is expected to eliminate the chance that the Eagles would sign free agent RB Ron Dayne, who visited the team earlier this week.

Wide receiver Kevin Curtis agreed to a six-year contract with Philadelphia on Thursday, giving the Eagles a potential replacement for Donte' Stallworth. Curtis' deal could be worth up to $32 million and includes $9.5 million in guaranteed money, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because terms of the contract weren't released.

Wide receiver and kick returner Bethel Johnson reached agreement on a one-year contract with the Eagles. In his career, Johnson has returned 147 kickoffs for 3,611 yards and two touchdowns. He also has 39 catches for 606 yards and four touchdowns.

Adam Schefter of NFL.com is reporting that Donte Stallworth has agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots.

According to league sources, Dont? Stallworth is a participant in the NFL's substance-abuse program, which could subject him to a league suspension if he were to violate the terms of the program again. The circumstances and time frame that led to Stallworth's admittance to the program have not been disclosed, and the receiver's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not return phone calls last night.

Free-agent defensive end Juqua Thomas re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on the first day of free agency. Thomas' playing time increased last year when three-time Pro Bowl peformer Jevon Kearse suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2. He responded by posting career highs of 47 tackles and six sacks. Thomas originally signed with Tennessee as a rookie free agent out of Oklahoma State. He played four seasons with the Titans before signing with the Eagles during training camp in 2005.
