Donovan McNabb doesn't want to leave Philadelphia, isn't jealous over the success Jeff Garcia had replacing him as Eagles quarterback, and wasn't muzzled by coach Andy Reid.
"The so-called rumors that have started, they're false," McNabb said. "I'm a Philadelphia Eagle and will continue to be a Philadelphia Eagle, hopefully, for more years to come, and hopefully will retire as an Eagle."

Garcia To Leno: "I'll Definitely Test The Free Agent Waters"
Jeff Garcia was on Jay Leno's Tonight Show on Tuesday night when he said that he will test the free agent waters.
He confirmed to Leno that he will "definitely" test free agency beginning March 1.
At the end of the interview, Leno asked Garcia about returning to the Eagles.
After saying it would "be great" if something could be worked out, Garcia seemed eager for free agency.
"I'll definitely be testing the waters," he said. "I've got to see what's out there."
Report: Donovan Unhappy With Eagles
Donovan McNabb is reportedly unhappy with the Eagles.
McNabb reportedly is unhappy that Eagles coach Andy Reid didn't allow him to travel with the team to New Orleans for the team's playoff game against the Saints. The Eagles have a rule that players on injured reserve don't travel with the team.
McNabb also reportedly might be getting the feeling that some with the Eagles might prefer Garcia as the team's starting quarterback after Garcia led Philadelphia to the playoffs and a postseason victory after McNabb's injury.
"I know Jeff and I know how he is," the unnamed former teammate told The Times. "After the way he played -- what was he, 6-1? -- and then he won a playoff game. He's not going to be happy being a backup again. He's way too much of a competitor for that. He should be going to the Pro Bowl the way he played. He knows that. Now, you want him to be a backup, and get paid like a backup. That's not going to happen."
Deuce, Reggie, Saints Defeat The Eagles
Who needs Mardi Gras when you're one game from the Super Bowl?
Deuce McAllister and rookie sensation Reggie Bush gave this battered city a reason to throw itself a party, carrying the Saints where they've never been before -- one game from the Super Bowl.
To constant chants of "DEUCE!" or "REG-GIE! REG-GIE!" the Saints used an assortment of spectacular plays to beat the Eagles 27-24.
Saints Are Counting On Their Offense
New Orleans may not have an offense full of players with playoff experience, but they came together to form the league's top-rated unit this season.
The Saints are counting on that offense to lead them into the NFC championship game for the first time Saturday night when they face the surging Eagles, who can earn their fifth trip in six seasons.
Lito Sheppard Out For Saints' Game
Eagles Pro Bowl cornerback Lito Sheppard will miss Saturday's second-round playoff game against New Orleans with a dislocated right elbow.
Sheppard was injured going for a tackle on a running play in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-20 victory over the New York Giants.
Akers FG Gives Eagles Dramatic Win Over Giants
Some of his teammates couldn't watch David Akers when he lined up for the winning kick, preferring to let the crowd's reaction tell them the outcome.
Given recent events around the NFL, nobody could blame them.
The fans' roar gave them the news, snap, hold and kick were perfect this time.
Akers hit a 38-yard field goal with no time remaining to give the Eagles a 23-20 victory over the Giants in a wild-card playoff game Sunday.
Eagles Sign Detmer For QB Insurance
Koy Detmer returned to the Eagles on Tuesday to provide insurance at quarterback going into the playoffs.
Detmer will be the No. 3 quarterback behind starter Jeff Garcia and backup A.J. Feeley. After Donovan McNabb went down with a season-ending knee injury in Week 11, the Eagles added Omar Jacobs to the practice squad.
