Simon Expected To File Grievance Against Colts
Corey Simon, defensive tackle for the Colts, was placed on the team's non-football injury/illness list this month, is expected to file a grievance against the team with the NFL Players Association to try to get the remaining $1.9 million of his 2006 salary. Teams are not required to pay players who are placed on the non-football injury/illness list.
"I'm still rehabbing my [knee] injury and taking care of that," Simon told the Daily News. He said the suggestion that he wasn't interested in playing was "totally false. "It's something we'll look at if Brandon and Ben aren't able to play," he said.
