After losing to New York/New Jersey in their bids to host the 2014 Super Bowl, Tampa and Miami are moving onto the next year's event.
"The sooner, the better," Miami Dolphins CEO Mike Dee said.
It took four rounds of voting to decide a winner on Tuesday.

Cadillac Signs Tender With Bucs
Cadillac Williams has signed his one-year tender to remain with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Williams was the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NFL draft and went on to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He has rushed for 3,240 yards and 18 touchdowns in five years, despite missing most of two seasons with career-threatening knee injuries.
After being sidelined for most of 2007 and 2008, Williams played all 16 games and led the Bucs with 823 rushing yards and four touchdowns last season.
Doug Williams Out In Tampa Bay, Could Go To Redskins
Former Washington quarterback Doug Williams is leaving the Tampa Bay organization, where he'd served as the Bucs' pro scouting director.
"[General Manager] Mark [Domenik and I have sat down and talked about my future," Williams said in a news release. "After a lot of thought, I felt that it was the right time for me to look at new options. I wish nothing but the best for the Buccaneers."
The Redskins made a couple of cuts to their scouting department last week, including Don Warren, who was responsible for pro scouting for Washington, and happen to be in the market for a hire or two.
Williams could always enter the coaching ranks, but he's well-regarded as a personnel man. He was in Tampa on Tuesday, so no announcements out of Redskins Park are imminent. But it wouldn't surprise anyone if the Redskins at least chat with Williams.
Williams is obviously familiar with Redskins' General Manager Bruce Allen, the Bucs' previous GM.
Trueblood Signs Tampa's One-Year Tender
Buccaneers offensive tackle Jeremy Trueblood has signed his one-year tender offer with the team.
The exclusive rights free agent joined Tampa Bay as a second-round draft pick in 2006.
Trueblood has started in 61 of the 63 games he's played over the last four seasons.
