Matthew Stafford played through a broken back toward the end of the 2018 season.

The Detroit Lions quarterback reportedly had some tiny fractures in his back.

Stafford suffered the injury in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Rams when he was tackled 11 times.

The Green Bay Packers have claimed Michael Roberts off waivers.

Last week, a trade sending the tight end from the Detroit Lions to the New England Patriots for a 2020 conditional seventh-round pick fell through after he failed his physical.

He was sent back to Detroit's roster and then waived.

C.J. Anderson has signed with four teams since the Denver Broncos cut him in April of 2018.

Anderson played his first five NFL seasons with the Broncos and ended last season in the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams.

He has since signed with the Detriot Lions.

"You want to go where you're wanted," Anderson said. "I was really wanted here."
