The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to sign LeGarrette Blount to a two-year deal.

Blount, 27, also had interest from the New England Patriots in bringing him back, but sources say they didn't approach the financial commitment of the Steelers.

Blount rushed for 772 yards and scored seven touchdowns last season for New England. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers are open to working on a new contract with Ben Roethlisberger, but it probably won't happen this offseason.

Roethlisberger is signed for the next two seasons, with base salaries of $12 million and $11 million and salary cap hits of nearly $18.9 million and $18.3 million. 

“We'll get through free agency, get through the draft and see where we are,” Kevin Colbert said Sunday at the NFL meetings. “Traditionally we have done quarterbacks (contracts) two years out, but as (team president) Art (Rooney) stated, we may or may not be in a position to do something this summer.”

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Lance Moore to a two-year deal.

Moore will replace Jerricho Cotchery, who signed with the Carolina Panthers.

Moore is just one season removed from a 1,000-yard year.

The Panthers are replacing nearly their entire wide receiver corps this offseason.

Cotchery also considered the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mike Mitchell and the Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed upon a five-year, $25 million contract.

Mitchell had a career season in starts, tackles, interceptions, sacks and forced fumbles at safety in 2013 for the Carolina Panthers.

Mitchell was playing on a one-year deal after spending four seasons with the Oakland Raiders.

Antonio Brown restructured his contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers to save $4 million in cap space for the team.

The Steelers had been roughly $15.25 million over the cap after outside linebacker Jason Worilds signed a one-year, $9.75 million contract Tuesday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Troy Polamalu have agreed upon a three-year, $20 million extension.

The new deal with Polamalu will save the Steelers $4.5 million against the cap this season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Heath Miller have agreed upon a restructured contract.

Miller's cap number for 2014 drops from $9.5 million to $6.1 million.

Miller lowers his base salary to $1.02 million in 2014 and bases of $4 million in 2015 and 2016.
