Davante Adams has called joining the Las Vegas Raiders "a dream come true."

Adams said he and Derek Carr didn't "scheme" to get the wide receiver traded to the Raiders for a Fresno State reunion, but the two did talk a lot.

"It's something we were definitely looking forward to, potentially, doing down the road," Adams said.

"But obviously, me playing in Green Bay, a great situation, having, you know, the greatest quarterback to play the game (in Aaron Rodgers), that's a dream in itself. So, I'll never take away anything away from, anything Green Bay gave me, or Aaron gave me. It was an amazing opportunity to work over there and do what I did for almost a decade. But, you know, things change sometimes. It's not the first time that an impactful player to an organization had to leave. I feel like it worked out for both sides, ultimately."

The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a two-year, $18.75 million deal with Marcus Mariota, who will replace Matt Ryan at quarterback.

Arthur Smith worked with Mariota during their time together with the Tennessee Titans.

Mariota, 28, spent the past two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders and has dealt with numerous injuries, appearing in one game in 2020 and 10 games in 2021. 

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to trade Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2022 first and 2022 second.

Adams will sign a five-year, $141.25 million deal with the Raiders. 

The Packers were reportedly willing to match contract terms, but Adams preferred to play elsewhere. Adams was teammates in college with Derek Carr. 

Aaron Rodgers was also briefed on the talks as they unfolded in recent days. 

The Las Vegas Raiders and Maxx Crosby have agreed to a four-year, $98.98 million contract extension.

The deal includes $53 million in guaranteed money.

The Las Vegas Raiders are releasing Cory Littleton after two disappointing seasons, according to a source.

The Raiders are expected to make the move with a post-June 1 designation.

Littleton, 28, originally signed a three-year, $35.25 million free-agent deal with $22 million guaranteed after spending his first four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Las Vegas Raiders have created a significant amount of cap space.

The Raiders restructured the contracts of Kenyan Drake and Kolton Miller, clearing $14.525 million in space for the new league year.

Drake has a guaranteed $5.5 million roster bonus for this season and a base salary of $2.5 million.

Miller signed a three-year contract extension last year and had a guaranteed roster bonus of $13.5 million for this season.
