Sources: Raiders Offer Knapp OC Job
The Raiders have offered Gregg Knapp their offensive coordinator position, according to two sources.
Knapp is currently serving as the quarterbacks coach for the Texans. He served as Oakland's offensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008.
He earned high praise this season for the work he did with Texans rookie quarterback T.J. Yates.
Report: Dennis Allen Deal With Raiders Finalized
The Raiders formally agreed Thursday on a four-year deal to make Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen their new head coach.
New GM Reggie McKenzie had decided Tuesday to hire Allen to replace the fired Hue Jackson as head coach. The two sides finalized the details Thursday, a person familiar with the process said on condition of anonymity because the team is not publicly discussing the search.
Alleged Victim Sues Raiders' McClain
An Alabama man who was allegedly assaulted by Rolando McClain and another man has sued the Raiders linebacker alleging "brutal and prolonged assault and battery."
Christian Tapscott of Decatur filed suit Wednesday in Morgan County Circuit Court seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages from McClain and Jadarious Willingham.

Reggie McKenzie expects there to be a good chance that the Raiders will have an agreement in place with a new head coach by the end of the week.
"It could happen by Saturday,'' McKenzie told CSN-Bay Area.
Among the candidates who McKenzie has reportedly either talked to or plans to talk to include Miami interim coach (since replaced by Joe Philbin) Todd Bowles, Denver defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, Philadelphia assistant head coach and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and Chicago offensive coordinator Mike Tice.
