The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to sign Matt Moore after losing Chad Henne to a broken right ankle.
Moore hasn't played in an NFL game since 2017 with the Miami Dolphins.
Moore will be the backup quarterback to Patrick Mahomes.

Damien Williams was projected to be the No. 1 running back for the Kansas City Chiefs this season.
Words is spreading that the Chiefs might instead use a committee and Williams is fine with that.
"At the end of the day, we are all here to compete. You know, no one is here to chill or feel like you're safe. Those are my guys," Williams said.
The Chiefs signed Carlos Hyde and drafted Darwin Thompson this offseason.
