Tyreek Hill met with NFL investigators for eight hours on Wednesday, according to a source.

It was categorized as a "very thorough interview."

Hill has been banned from the Kansas City Chiefs' training facility amid an investigation by the Kansas Department of Children and Families into possible child abuse, battery or neglect.

The wide receiver remains subject to a suspension under the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Tyreek Hill will meet with NFL officials in Kansas City on Wednesday.

Hill has been banned from the Kansas City Chiefs' training facility while he remains under investigation for child abuse.

Hill's three-year-old son suffered a broken arm that is being investigated by the Kansas Department of Children and Families.

There is currently no criminal investigation. 

Hill could be suspended by the NFL under the league's personal conduct policy.

The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a five-year contract extension with kicker Harrison Butker worth $20 million, according to a source.

The $4 million annual average on the extension would tie him for eighth among the league's highest-paid kickers.

Butker, 23, has made 62 of 69 field goal attempts since joining the Chiefs.

His 90 percent success rate is ninth best in the league for kickers with at least 10 attempts.

Chris Jones skipped the Kansas City Chiefs' mandatory three-day minicamp as he seeks a new contract.

Jones is heading into the final season of the contract he signed in 2016 as a second round draft pick.

Jones finished third in the NFL with 15.5 sacks in 2018.

"We just go," Andy Reid said recently. "[If] you're here, you get better. [If] you're not, you don't."

Prosecutors are not actively working on a criminal investigation on possible child abuse involving Tyreek Hill.

“It is not an active investigation,” Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe said in an email Friday morning. “As in any case, if we receive additional evidence we reevaluate.”

Howe previously said he believed the three-year-old son of Hill and fiancee Crystal Espinal had been hurt but couldn’t prove who did it.

Hill’s future with the Kansas City Chiefs is in limbo.
