"It’s strictly training and conditioning. It’s really put a lot of limits on the off-season program and frankly it’s a detriment to the development of younger players in this league in my opinion.”

Dom Capers has spoken with Reggie McKenzie about Oakland's head coaching position, according to a source. Capers has twice been a head coach, both times of expansion clubs. Capers has most recently served as defensive coordinator of the Packers.
