Marvin Lewis Agrees To Extension With Bengals

Marvin Lewis and the Bengals have agreed on an extension that will run through the 2014 season. Lewis was entering the final year of his current contract. "The team we have for this year is as exciting and intriguing as any one I've had," he said in a statement. "Our goal is to win the Super Bowl, nothing less, and it's great to have this extension in place."

Bengals Banned From Using Twitter

Marvin Lewis has banned the Bengals from using Twitter during training camp this summer. The coach is trying to get his players to focus while they work out at their downtown facility the next few weeks. "I don't think it's something where we're trying to fine guys $10,000 if they Twitter something," said offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth, who doesn't have a Twitter account. "I think we're just more saying, 'Let's let our focus be on what we do.'"

Joseph Rates Texans Higher Than Bengals

Johnathan Joseph left the Bengals last season after five seasons and signed a five-year, $48.75 million contract that included $23.5 million in guaranteed money with the Texans. "The first thing about Houston is it's an organization run from a different perspective," Joseph said. "In Cincy, the team lives off money it earns from football. Houston's owner has other business interests and he controls the money." Pacman Recounts Spending $1M In Single Weekend

Adam "Pacman" Jones spoke to the NFL Rookie Symposium last week in order to tell the players what not to do. Colts rookie tight end Coby Fleener relays a story that Jones regretfully spent $1 million in a single weekend. Terrell Owens, sitting on the stage next to Jones, said, "Man, you crazy!" Jones seemed to know that he was lucky just to be talking to the rookies. He estimated that 90 percent of his Atlanta childhood friends are now dead or in jail.
