Anderson was signed to replace Sedrick Ellis following his sudden retirement announcement.
Anderson spent four seasons in Atlanta before signing with the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent in 2011.
The Seattle Seahawks have the most talent in the NFL of players 25-and-under.

Brandon Marshall had 118 catches and 194 targets during his first season with the Chicago Bears.
Marshall is fine with having his production potentially decrease with the addition of Martellus Bennett. Marshall had offseason hip surgery, which he blames on the wear and tear by having such high usage in the Bears' passing game.
"I am (looking forward to having more weapons)," Marshall told ESPN Chicago's Sarah Spain while attending the ESPYs. "It was tough sledding last year. I think that's why I had to have the surgery. I had 2-3 guys on me every single play, but bringing in big boy Martellus, I don't think the league really knows how good he is. I didn't know, and that was one of my great friends in the league. So I'm excited to see him, he's going to be awesome this year for us."
Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears had discussed an extension worth $15 million per season, but talks were shelved when Marc Trestman was hired as head coach.
Trestman wants to find out if Cutler is a natural fit for the West Coast offense.
Henry Melton will play the 2013 season with the Chicago Bears for the franchise tag of $8.45 million.
Melton was a Pro Bowl defensive tackle last season and had six sacks.
Michael Bush played most of the season with a fractured bone in his right shoulder.
Bush's season ended on injured reserve with a rib injury.
"How did I play through it?" Bush asked rhetorically after saying he suffered it in a Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers. "The same way I was going to play through the rib injury until I realized (the rib injury) was worse than what it was. That's just me. Once I broke my leg (in college) ... if it ain't my leg and it ain't my feet and I can still walk around and run, I'm going to play."
