Chargers Sign QB Kevin O'Connell
The Chargers have signed former San Diego State quarterback Kevin O’Connell to a one-year contract.
O’Connell was a third-round pick of the Patriots in 2008. He spent the ’08 season with the Patriots and the 2009-11 seasons with the Jets. O’Connell appeared in just two games, both with the Patriots during the ’08 season when he completed four of six pass attempts for 23 yards.
Antonio Brown Signs Five-Year Extension With Steelers
Wide receiver Antonio Brown signed a five-year contract extension Friday with the Steelers.
The deal is worth $42.5M, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Seahawks Add Antonio Bryant To Receiving Corps
The Seahawks added depth to its wide receiver unit by signing Antonio Bryant on Thursday.
Bryant had a tryout with the teram during June's minicamp. Coach Pete Carroll said he didn't feel Bryant was in football shape then and wanted to see if he could get himself ready in the month between the tryout and training camp.

The Vikings have signed tackle Matt Kalil, their top draft pick and the last player from their 2012 draft class to reach a contract, according to an ESPN.com report.
Terms weren't disclosed Thursday, one day before the team opens training camp.
49ers Sign Dashon Goldson To Tender, Sign Leonard Davis
49ers safety Dashon Goldson signed his one-year franchise tender and reported to training camp on Thursday.
The team also signed offensive lineman Leonard Davis to a one-year contract.
Goldson, whose franchise-tag number is approximately $6.2M, was unable to reach an agreement with the team prior to the NFL's deadline.
Chargers Sign Cordell Bell, Aubrayo Franklin
The Chargers signed offensive tackle Cordell Bell to a three-year contract Wednesday. Bell is an undrafted rookie free agent from Minnesota State-Mankato. The team released wide receiver Paul Cox, an undrafted rookie from Mississippi Valley State.
Veteran defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin also officially signed his contract.
Ravens Sign Ricky Brown, Pass On Steinbach
The Ravens have signed linebacker Ricky Brown.
Brown was one of several players Baltimore looked at, including former Browns guard Eric Steinbach.
Steinbach is expected to make more free-agent visits.

The Buccaneers have signed first-round draft pick Mark Barron to a five-year contract.
The safety from Alabama was the seventh overall selection after helping the Crimson Tide win the BCS championship last season.
He's expected to become a starter for a team that allowed an NFL-high 494 points in 2011.

The Chargers have agreed on a one-year contract with free-agent defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin.
Franklin, a fifth-round pick by the Ravens in 2003, has played with Baltimore, the 49ers and Saints.
