Former Chiefs offensive lineman Rich Baldinger will not face charges after being involved in a traffic accident that left a woman dead. Investigators have determined that the Saturday crash in Blue Springs, Mo. between Baldinger and Marilyn Walters, 61, of Grain Valley was accidental.

Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth said on a 911 call that the man he struck and killed while driving drunk jumped in front of his car. Stallworth is serving a 30-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter in the March 14 death. The receiver described how the victim "just ran in front of my car."

Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess is seeking to press charges against someone who was impersonating him on a Twitter page. Bess says that the Twitter updates that were made in his name by "LamboWeezy" have no connection to him. Bess' agent, Kenny Zuckerman, has alerted the authorities to the incident.

The NFL is going to the Supreme Court in search of help in an antitrust tussle over team merchandise. The league was already victorious in a lower court. The Supreme Court could decide as early as Monday whether it will hear the case.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has notified Plaxico Burress that his office is initiating a review of incidents involving the receiver. Burress, has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and faces up to 3 1/2 years in prison. Goodell had been waiting for the legal process to be complete, but it has been delayed with no clear indication of when it will be concluded.

Commissioner Roger Goodell is beginning to focus on evaluating Michael Vick?s future in the NFL, according to an Associated Press report. That doesn?t mean a decision will come any time before the 2009 regular season begins in September. Goodell said Thursday his decision on whether to reinstate the former Falcons quarterback, convicted on federal charges of running a dogfighting ring, will come ?in due time.?

The Dolphins are disputing a report that first-round pick Vontae Davis was arrested June 9 for unnecessary vehicular noise and driving without a valid license. "I talked to Vontae, and he was here all day on June 9," Dolphins spokesman Harvey Greene said. "In addition, it was an OTA [organized team activity] day he participated in. Following the on-field activities, there was a rookie symposium that didn't end until 3:30. So, it's physically impossible for him to be in Champaign [Illinois] at 6:47."

Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf posted a $45,000 bond Wednesday in Washington for drug and burglary charges out of Texas. He was arrested near the United States-Canada border by customs agents. "I assume when he was crossing the border, they picked him up," attorney Bill Kelly said.

Browns wide receiver Donte' Stallworth began serving a 30-day jail sentence Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter. In addition, Stallworth reached a confidential financial settlement to avoid a potential lawsuit from the family of 59-year-old Mario Reyes. "I accept full responsibility for this horrible tragedy," said Stallworth. "I will bear this burden for the rest of my life."
