Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner underwent arthroscopic hip surgery on Tuesday, according to the team.
The operation was to repair a torn labrum and "clean up some loose fragments" and was preformed by the same doctor that worked on Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez earlier this month.
"Everything went well and I'm feeling great," Warner said in a statement released by the team Wednesday. "I began rehab on a stationary bike just a few hours after surgery and then a couple of more times today."

Jurevicius May Have Failed Physical
The Browns released Joe Jurevicius on Wednesday, making him an unrestricted free agent. However, it's possible that Jurevicius was released after failing a physical examination. That was the designation used when the Seahawks released Marcus Tubbs last year during training camp last year.
Jurevicius underwent knee surgery after the 2007 season and subsequently contracted a staph infection and was unable to play in 2008.
Joe McKnight Won't Be Ready For Spring Practice
USC tailback Joe McKnight said he will not participate in spring practice because he is still recovering from the Rose Bowl, when he dislocated four toes on his left foot on the same play during the Trojans' victory over Penn State.
"I'm not going to do spring," McKnight said. "They don't want me to."
