Andre Johnson was hurt for much of the 2011 season, but he insists he remains in his prime.

“Everybody is saying that I’m old and I probably can’t play anymore and that I’m injury-prone,” Johnson said. “(Injuries) happen. I think, as players, if we could control that, there wouldn’t be any injuries. It happens, and I move on. When I’m out on the field, as you see in preseason when I was able to play, I went out and made plays. People can say what they want. I really don’t care.”

Johnson is 31 and reached 700 receptions faster than any NFL wide receiver except Marvin Harrison.

Many of the game's best wide receivers have had productive careers well into their thirties such as Jerry Rice, Don Hutson and Randy Moss.
