Redskins tight end Chris Cooley expects the team to acquire a quarterback once the NFL lockout ends. Donovan McNabb isn't expected to return, John Beck is the presumed starter and Rex Grossman hopes to re-sign with Washington. Appearing on NFL Network, Cooley complemented both Beck and Grossman but said the team's quarterback picture remains undecided. With veteran quarterbacks like Matt Hasselbeck and Vince Young available, Cooley expects the Redskins to explore other possibilities. "In my opinion, we'll move forward into whatever training camp we have and they'll be a competition between Rex Grossman and John Beck," Cooley said. "Obviously we're going to have to bring someone else in. Do you bring in a bigger name? No one knows. Obviously, they passed on a lot of guys they had a chance to draft. So either they really like John Beck and Rex Grossman, or they have someone else in mind."
