The Miami Dolphins reportedly finished second in trading for Jimmy Graham with the New Orleans Saints.

Graham was traded to the Seattle Seahawks at the start of the offseason.

The Dolphins instead signed Jordan Cameron at tight end.

Graham played basketball and football at the University of Miami.

The New Orleans Saints insist they won't trade Drew Brees.

"Anybody who thinks we're trading Drew Brees, that's just not true," general manager Mickey Loomis told USA TODAY Sports' Jim Corbett.

Brees had a down season in 2014 and the Saints appear to be rebuilding.

Loomis also took issue with the perception that the Saints' salary cap is a mess necessitating many of the moves.

"We're not in cap jail," Loomis said. "That's a myth since it's always a year to year deal."

The Saints started roughly $23 million over the threshold before moves put them slightly under the $143.2 million cap.

C.J. Spiller has agreed to sign with the New Orleans Saints.

Spiller joins a backfield that includes Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson.

Spiller was the ninth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Spiller is coming off two injury-hampered seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to trade Kenny Stills to the Miami Dolphins.

Stills was a fifth round pick out of Oklahoma by the Saints in 2013.

Stills had 63 catches for 931 yards and three touchdowns in 2014.

The Saints previously traded away Jimmy Graham this week.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed upon a three-year, $18 million deal with Brandon Browner.

Browner spent the 2014 season with the New England Patriots.

Browner emerged in the NFL at cornerback with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints have finalized a deal involving Jimmy Graham.

Graham and a fourth rounder would go to the Seahawks in exchange for Max Unger and a first round pick.

Graham caught 85 balls for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2014.

The Saints signed Graham to a four-year, $40 million contract last year.

Unger was a Pro Bowl selection at center in 2012 and 2013.

The Seahawks will not pick in the first round for the third straight year.

Mark Ingram and the New Orleans Saints have agreed upon a four-year, $16 million deal.

Ingram rushed for 964 yards and nine touchdowns in 2014, his best season since he was a first round pick out of Alabama in 2011.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed upon a restructured contract for 2015 with Marques Colston.

Colston was due to make $6.9 million and count $9.7 million against the cap.

Colston caught 59 balls for 902 yards in 2014.

The New Orleans Saints will release Pierre Thomas.

Thomas had 45 carries for 222 yards and two touchdowns in 2014.

Thomas' production dipped significantly from 2013 when he had 147 carries and 549 yards.
