Tyler Eifert will undergo a minor ankle surgery and is likely to begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

The recovery period is estimated at three months, per the Enquirer, which could put Eifert's availability for the start of the season at risk.

Eifert has dealt with injuries throughout his career.

Dwight Freeney will work out for the Cincinnati Bengals.

A midseason addition to Arizona's roster last October, Freeney made a major impact for the Cardinals defensively. 

Freeney recorded eight sacks and forced three fumbles in just 245 snaps in 2015.

Pro Football Focus credited Freeney with having the sixth-best pass-rush productivity among 3-4 outside linebackers.
