Penn State tailback Austin Scott has waived his right to an arraignment and has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape, sexual assault, indecent assault and simple assault, according to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The charges come from allegations he attacked a Penn State student who went home with him in the early morning hours of Oct. 5.
The next step in the legal process for Scott is a pre-trial conference set for Jan. 17. Jury selection is slated to begin Feb. 4.
The judge in the case has imposed a gag order in the case.
