Darren McFadden played 70 of the Oakland Raiders' 74 snaps on offense in Week 1, touching the ball 28 times.

McFadden was targeted 18 times as a receiver, finishing with 13 completions.

“We’re going to have to use the other backs a little bit more and keep Darren a little bit more fresh,” Dennis Allen said. “He played a lot of snaps in the game. We felt like that gave us the best chance to win last night. We’ll continue to evaluate that situation as we go throughout the season.

“We’re going to have to get some other touches for some of the other backs so we can keep Darren healthy.”
