LaDainian Tomlinson is headed back to San Diego without signing a contract with the Jets. New York is believed to be willing to give LT the type of deal that they wouldn't match to keep Thomas Jones from jumping to the Chiefs; two years and $5 million. Tomlinson met with the Jets, but said all along that he wanted to talk with his wife about the decision.
