A team source claims that the Eagles will not use their franchise tag on any free agents this offseason.

Philadelphia has five veterans that can become unrestricted free agents: offensive tackles Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan, safety Brian Dawkins, tight end L.J. Smith and running back Correll Buckhalter.
