It’s the midst of pro day circuit and the Combine is in the books, so it’s time to update the overall big board.
For the entire big board, which includes color coded flags for injuries and various off-field activities, I have a Google doc set up. It might help explain some of the odder placements not elaborated here.
- Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M. Elite athlete with the proven ability to translate it on the field. Easy choice for No. 1.
- Jamal Adams, S, LSU. His tackling can be discouraging at times, but Adams has the range, instincts and playmaking knack to more than make up for it.
- O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama. Lofty perch for a tight end, but Howard is the best TE prospect I’ve evaluated since I started back in 2004.
- Budda Baker, S, Washington. If Baker were even an inch taller, he’d be a consensus top 10 pick. I’ll bet on the size of the fight in the dog.
- Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech. A gunslinger with awkward mechanics but the mentality and arm talent to be special.
- Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford. I’m not sure the versatile McCaffrey is the most talented rusher in this class, but I’m fairly convinced he is the most likely to succeed.
- Jonathan Allen, DT, Alabama. The arthritic shoulders scare me, but his on-field prowess scares opposing offenses more.
- Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State. A big-time ball hawk with closing speed and outstanding body control.
- Haason Reddick, LB, Temple. His game film was pretty impressive as an undersized edge rusher for the Owls, but between his outstanding Senior Bowl week playing off-ball and his incredible display at the Combine, Reddick proved he’s got high-end potential as an impact defender in a variety of capacities.
- Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford. Freakish agility and speed-to-power as an edge rusher, though his lack of length will matter more in NFL.
- Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State. Would be higher up if not for the injury factor.
- Deshone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame. Lowest floor of the top QBs but getting out of South Bend could be exactly what he needs to hit his high ceiling.
- Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina. Just one year as a starter where he flashed the arm, vision and moxie to handle NFL offenses and coaching.
- Jabrill Peppers, S/RS, Michigan. Sticking him in one role should alleviate the concerns about lack of impact plays, and he’s the best return specialist prospect in years as insurance.
- Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee. His great hands and ability to finish plays in the backfield stand out, and he plays the run well too.
- Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin. One year in Madison was enough to show the most technically sound, balanced all-around blocker in the class.
- Dan Feeney, OG, Indiana. Senior Bowl standout built upon oft-dominant game film. Ready to start right away.
- Forrest Lamp, OL, Western Kentucky. Lacks length at tackle though it didn’t impact him in college, but his positional versatility a big selling point.
- Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan. High-floor player with length and a lethal spin move, should be a great No. 2 pass rusher for a 4-3 front.
- Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan. Top wideout has size, speed, explosiveness in the open field but doesn’t always tie it together.
- Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
- Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
- Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama
- Marcus Williams, S, Utah
- Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
- Tim Williams, OLB, Alabama
- Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
- Evan Engram, TE/WR, Ole Miss
- Obi Melifonwu, S, Connecticut
- Sidney Jones, CB, Washington. Would have been in the top 20 and CB No. 2 if not for the torn Achilles at his pro day
- John Ross, WR, Washington
- Garett Bolles, OT, Utah
- Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
- Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
- TreDavious White, CB, LSU
- Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma
- Derek Rivers, DE, Youngstown State
- Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo

- Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
- Taylor Moton, OT/OG, Western Michigan
- Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
- Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech
- Raekwon McMillan, LB, Ohio State
- Cam Sutton, CB/S, Tennessee

- Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt
- Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State
- Chidobe Awuzie, CB, Colorado
- Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
- Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida
- Josh Reynolds, WR, Texas A&M
- Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland. D-II star has sticky hands, power to his blocks and decent feet for such a big target.
- Teez Tabor, CB, Florida
- Taywan Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky
- Carl Lawson, DE , Auburn
- Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
- Carlos Watkins, DT, Clemson
- Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
- Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
- Kevin King, CB, Washington
- Adoree Jackson, CB/RS, USC
- Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado. 6-foot-3 corner with quick feet and innate cover savvy, but he’s not a tackler.
- Deatrick Wise, DE, Arkansas
- Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
- Anthony Walker, LB, Northwestern
- Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
- Marlon Mack, RB, South Florida
- Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
- Malik McDowell, DE/DT, Michigan State
- Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA
- Elijah Qualls, DT, Washington
- Jamaal Williams, RB, BYU. Physical runner with vision and power, can plant and cut nicely for a bigger back
- Ethan Pocic, OC, LSU
- Howard Wilson, CB, Houston
- Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple
- Takk McKinley, DE/LB, UCLA
- Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
- Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama
- Michael Roberts, TE, Toledo
- Josh Jones, S, North Carolina State
- Bucky Hodges, TE, Virginia Tech
- Damontae Kazee, CB, San Diego State. Ready to play as a slot CB with ball skills and loads of confidence, quick feet.
- Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte
- Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson
- Demarcus Walker, DT, Florida State
- Jeremy McNichols, RB, Boise State
- Vince Biegel, OLB, Wisconsin
- George Kittle, TE, Iowa
- Marcus Maye, S, Florida
- Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson
- Nathan Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh
- Tedric Thompson. S, Colorado. Outstanding ball skills and cover instincts as a center-fielder type of free safety.
- Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan
- Lorenzo Jerome, S, St. Francis
- Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan
- Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh
- Davis Webb, QB, California
- Tanzel Smart, DT, Tulane
- Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida
- K.D. Cannon, WR, Baylor
- Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
- Desmond King, S/CB, Iowa. Physical Cover-2 CB and spirited tackler, must learn to stop holding faster receivers.
- Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
- Ryan Switzer, WR/RS, North Carolina
- Will Holden, OT, Vanderbilt
- DeAngelo Brown, DT, Louisville
- Malachi Dupre, WR. LSU
- Dorian Johnson, OG, Pittsburgh
- Juju Smith-Schuster, WR, USC

- Ryan Anderson, OLB, Alabama
- Eddie Jackson, S/CB, Alabama
- Blair Brown, LB, Ohio
