By Laremy Legel Welcome to the Standing Ten; 10 quarterbacks, 10 wideouts, and ten running backs who shone during the Sunday match-ups. Top Ten Quarterbacks 1. Marc Bulger: 360yds, 3/1 He tore up a Seahawks secondary that is suspect at best. Nevertheless a tearing is a tearing and Bulger has strung four great weeks together with nine td?s versus one pick. 2. Matt Hasselbeck: 268yds, 3/0 The Rams-Seahawks shootout had another beneficiary in the form of young Matt. I know owners were starting to get a little worried about him. Now if he could just clean up those four sacks? 3. Phillip Rivers: 334yds, 2/0 The kid can play, weird throwing motion or no. Shottenheimer is the worst coach in the world in terms of aggressive playcalling but even he might not be able to slow this juggernaut. 4. Ben Roethlisberger: 238yds, 2/0 Here?s another ?please let him have a good game guy? and he did. Very accurate, stood in the pocket well, cut up a decent Chiefs squad. Owners rejoice. 5. Kyle Boller: 226yds, 3/1 A wasted performance as he came in off the bench and very few would have started him. If he stays the starter he?s better than McNair in my opinion. 6. Drew Brees: 275yds, 3/2 I didn?t think he?d translate to New Orleans without Gates and L.T. but he?s proven me quite wrong. Having Bush and the emotional lift of being a Saint right now has to help some though. 7. Jake Delhomme: 365yds, 2/2 We heard about the Baltimore defense about four weeks in a row. Strong, fast, smart, the accolades piled up. And then Delhomme dominated them for 365yds. Hmmm.. maybe they should stop reading their own publicity. 8. Donovan McNabb: 247yds, 2/1 The guy is good. There is no other call you could make at this point. No, not even the one about him only having a good third quarter. Irrelevant, he still threw a bunch more good passes than bad. 9. Chad Pennington: 175yds, 2/0 The Dolphins D doesn?t force turnovers. It was a decent day for Chad, not a great one, but it?s enough to crack this here top ten. 10. Drew Bledsoe: 168yds, 2/0 Bledsoe owners have to be rejoicing in anything positive. He?s got to keep passing to Owens because a) Owens is good and b) otherwise Owens might kill him. Top Ten Running Backs 1. LaDanian Tomlinson: 71yds, 4td He also caught seven balls out of the backfield. After the 36 yard performance against Pittsburgh this was a more suitable day for the top three everywhere pick. 2. Willie Parker: 109yds, 2td Willie is the very definition of inconsistent with a bad game following a good one every single outing this year. 3. Travis Henry: 178yds, 1td Two in a row and he?ll now be the starting back all year long. Plus, with the upset and 32 carries you can bet he?ll be seeing massive attempts from here on out. 4. Tiki Barber: 185yds, 0td A huge outing for Tiki as he even outshone a guy who had a 90 yard run in the same game. Barber is proven why he should?ve been taken number four at the very latest. 5. Warrick Dunn: 146yds, 1td Sure the bulk came on that 90 yard dealie but he still averaged 4.3 a carry. It might be time to get him more than 14 carries Falcons, and I don?t want to hear the ?we were down? excuse. 6. Kevin Jones: 127yds, 1 td He?s one away from matching his career high in TDs. He also had six grabs for those leagues that reward receptions. Lastly, he had the most carries of the season and the Lions one so you?d think that lesson will stick. 7. Ronnie Brown: 127yds, 1td The Dolphins are just abysmal but this was Ronnie?s first century mark outing. You?ve got to think Joey Harrington being able to actually throw the ball will help Ronnie. 8. Julius Jones: 106yds, 0td Three games in a row with 100 yards and he clearly fits into Parcells? plan. He should fit into the plan for all owners too. 9. Clinton Portis: 58yds, 2td He scored twice and caught five. If only Brunell was just a little better teams couldn?t put twelve in the box. 10. Carnell Williams: 94yds, 0td He?s been fine the past two weeks in terms of yardage but fans are still looking for those end zone appearances. The Bucs don?t score in general so they might be hard to find. Top Ten Wide Receivers 1. Torry Holt: 8 catches, 154yds, 3td He did it all, circus catches, out routes, a complete mauling of the Hawks. You get the feeling if the Rams would have had the ball after the Seahawks filed goal he would have done it one more time. 2. Steve Smith: 8 catches, 189yds, 1td The little big man probably won?t be off the top ten again this year. He?s nothing less than the best in the game, and without all the attitude too. Refreshing. 3. Roy Williams: 10 catches, 161yds, 1td The resurgence continues. Maybe it should just be called a ?surgence? though since he?s on pace for the first 1000 yard receiving year of his young career. 4. Joe Horn: 6 catches, 110yds, 2td The first big game for the former stalwart. He?s only 34 but he looks a billion with that hairline. 5. Laveranues Coles: 5 catches, 106yd, 2td After getting owned by the Jags D he came back strong. 6. Mark Clayton: 5 catches, 101yds, 2td He?s still got a long way to go before he?s considered the best Mark Clayton ever in my book. 7. Terrell Owens: 5 catches, 45yds, 3td They have him the rock! Not a lot of catches but it?s nice to see him getting headlines on the field again, at least for the next twelve hours. 8. Deion Branch: 6 catches, 76yds, 2td He?s worth the first round pick at this point. They wouldn?t have sniffed victory without him. 9. T.J. Houshmandzadeh: 10 catches, 102yds, 1td I have to copy/paste his name every time so frankly it would be better if he didn?t make the list going forward. I?ll give credit though, he may have been the only Bengal that showed up Sunday. 10. Jeremy Shockey: 6 catches, 55yds, 2td Remember when this guy had more hype than Hype Williams?
