The University of Idaho has removed the logo from the back of its uniform pants after the new design caused an uproar, Athletic Director Rob Spear said. Idaho wore the pants, which featured a prominent "I" with "Vandals" in script across the butt, during its 70-0 season-opening loss to Arizona. The pants got much of the attention, much of it mocking the Vandals. "I was disappointed with the look and the appearance. We didn't realize how noticeable it would be until it was on our players," Spear said Thursday.
