The Patriots released defensive back Willie Andrews on Tuesday just a day after he was arrested for pointing a gun at his girlfriend, according to The Associated Press. "The New England Patriots take the conduct of our players very seriously. We are aware of the very disturbing and alarming reports regarding Willie Andrews. We will not offer any additional comment, as is our policy regarding pending legal matters," the team said in a statement Monday. He was primarily a special teams player with New England over the last two seasons. Monday's incident marked his second arrest of the year.
