Free-agent running back Ron Dayne was scheduled to meet with the Titans on Thursday, according to The Tennessean. He was expected to undergo a physical and work out for team officials. "Tennessee got a chance to see Ron play the last (two) years while he was in Houston, and they like him," agent Karim Lawrence said. "They were very interested in getting him there (for a visit)." The Titans have no shortage of runners, though, with LenDale White, Chris Henr,y and first-round pick Chris Johnson under contract. "What they said to me was LenDale is coming off a knee injury, so that is maybe a concern of theirs," Lawrence said. "Ron has proven he can play through whatever. He is a hard worker, kind of like how the team and the city is, blue-collar. He comes to play and could certainly help." Dayne won the Heisman Trophy in 1999.
