The New York Jets are close to signing tight end Bubba Franks, two people close to the negotiations told The Star-Ledger. It is believed that an official announcement could come as soon as Monday, after the Jets missed out on Colts' TE Ben Utecht Friday. Utecht signed an offer sheet with the Bengals on Friday and will either move to Cincinnati or remain a member of the Colts if they match the offer.
