In an overwhelming vote at the NCAA convention on Saturday, the Division I membership decided to uphold a proposal that coaches cannot text message recruits, with 78 percent voting to not override the current legislation. "I'm not surprised," said Saint Joseph's Athletic Director Don DiJulia, whose head basketball coach Phil Martelli said he has no idea how to text. "We thought it was headed this way."
