Dexter Lawrence and the New York Giants have agreed to a four-year, $90 million extension including $60 million guaranteed.

The deal makes Lawrence the third-highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL behind the Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald and Tennessee's Jeffery Simmons.

Lawrence elected to stay away from the start of the voluntary portion of the Giants' offseason program because of a contract disagreement.

Lawrence was the 17th overall pick in the 2019 draft in a pick acquired from the Cleveland Browns in the Odell Beckham Jr. trade.
