The New York Jets have acquired Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers has long been rumored to be traded to the Jets this offseason, but a finalized trade took several weeks.

The Jets will receive Rodgers, pick No. 15 and a 2023 fifth round pick (No. 170) for pick No. 13, a 2023 second round pick (No. 42), a sixth round pick (No. 207), and a conditional 2024 second round pick that becomes a first round pick if Rodgers plays in 65 percent of plays.

Rodgers will wear No. 8 for the Jets as No. 12 is retired by the franchise for Joe Namath.
