The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a two-year, $25 million deal to bring back Lavonte David, according to sources.

The deal includes $20 million guaranteed.

News of the agreement came just hours after the Buccaneers used the franchise tag on Chris Godwin.

Entering Tuesday, Tampa Bay had just $15 million in salary-cap space, but they were able to get creative and use three voidable years in David's contract to spread his cap number more evenly, so he'll only count $3.5 million against the salary cap this year.
