Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman spoke positively of Carson Wentz on Monday despite reports that the quarterback plans to ask for a trade this offseason.

It was reported this past weekend that Wentz feels his relationship with Doug Pederson is fractured beyond repair.

"That is not anything we're talking about right now," Roseman said of trading Wentz.

The Eagles drafted Wentz No. 2 overall in 2016 and then gave him a four-year, $128 million extension three years later.

"When you have players like that, they're like fingers on your hands -- you can't even imagine that they're not a part of you, that they're not here. That's how we feel about Carson," Roseman said.
