Jalen Hurts replaced Carson Wentz midway through the third quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles' 30-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon.

The second-round rookie finished 5-of-12 for 109 yards with a touchdown and an interception while rushing five times for 29 yards. Wentz had been 6-of-15 for 79 yards and was sacked four times.

Hurts played just 33 snaps over Philadelphia's first 11 games.

Wentz received a four-year, $128 million extension worth more than $107 million in guaranteed money prior to the 2019 season. The deal ties him to the Eagles through the 2024 season.
