The Houston Texans and Laremy Tunsil have agreed to a three-year, $66 million contract extension.

The deal makes Tunsil the NFL's highest-paid offensive lineman and also includes $50 million in guaranteed money.

Tunsil negotiated the deal without using an agent.

At the end of last season, Bill O'Brien said the Texans wanted to keep Tunsil in Houston.

"Look, we want Laremy here," O'Brien said in January. "Laremy knows that. ... I can unequivocally state to you that we want Laremy here for a long time."
